For each decoupage oyster sold, Grit & Grace Studio recycles ten oyster shells back to the Charleston, Folly Beach, and Sullivan’s Island waters. This helps restore oyster habitats, rebuild our natural breakwaters against erosion, and enhance local marine habitats. Through our in-house oyster shell recycling program, we are proud to share that to date, Grit & Grace Studio has recycled more than 5,000 gallons of oyster shells back to the Charleston area waters.
