Sea Island Stocking Stunners

Stockings are a must-have mantle accessory—much like Santa’s red and white hat, milk and cookies, or the sight of mistletoe. Each calls up warm memories of holiday traditions. 

A couple of Sundays ago, I was attending a neighborhood Christmas party and the host created a set of online family games for the attendees to play. One of the questions asked, “What are the five most common words related to Christmas?” To my $10,000 Pyramid team’s disappointment, one of the answers was not “stockings” but I thought it should be; because how much fun it is to unpack a stocking on Christmas morning. It’s like a bunch of little presents all in one—and the mystery of it makes it that much more special.

SOREL Boots are Potential-Shoes?

Three words: SOREL boots obsession. And there’s a reason why—I can look fashionable while shopping all day and end the experience without my feet feeling like little fires. When I found out that Sea Island Trading Co. had pieces from the new SOREL collections, Joan of Arctic and Joan Next, I knew my winter wardrobe would be a little fuller (and my wallet a tad lighter). When I was thirteen years old, a vision came to me. It was of a future me.
